Actor

Caribbean origin, Richard Vitalis was born and raised in Paris.
With several highly structured training and many professional experiences.
It is without distinction as more knowledgeable will recognize his amazing journey as an actor.

In 1987 Richard began his first theater training during "White Salan" (formerly "Glass Menagerie") with Steve Kalfa. During this summer, Richard share the Avignon Festival to play 'The next room "Raphaël Sadin. The course "White Salan" last 3 years, with Paul Weaver and Blanche Salan who introduce the techniques of Lee Strasberg, Richard continues his apprenticeship. At the same time, he turns in "Knights of the Sky" by Patrick Jamin for TF1, then "lost night and spent" a short film directed by D'Idem.

To deepen his previous training, this time more oriented text, Richard chooses to follow the courses provided by Robert Cordier from 1990 to 1992. A year after they started it, he plays in "The Rise and Fall of the City of Maha Gony" by Berthold Brecht, directed by Robert Cordier. Shortly after, Richard was spotted by Stephanie Cohen (director) and plays in "Mobile Home" Mary Stuart at the theater.

Then Richard went into exile a year on its island of origin in order to recharge.

Back in France, he teaches drama in MJC in Créteil from 1994 to 1995, this time it passes behind the camera as director and performs "Friends" a short film whose success attracts more media such as ARTE and RFO. (the chairs were, Roger Hanin and the Mayor of the time)
Then to refine his game and passion for comedy, Richard finds Steve Kalfa, which provides tutoring for the "Actor Studio" for a year. This will be his last training.

In 1996 he played in the theater for Johanne Guyot-Baron in "From Possession" by Andrzej Zulawski. Then in 1998, he played the lead role in the short film "The Boxer" for school Louis Jouvet in Paris.

In 2004, Richard contends that the sisters Kanor with Menelik, Montoute Edward Roland Brival and Firmine Richard, in the first installment of "Marlene and black cocks" in which a young woman wonders and struggle perpetually with a visceral fear, infidelity on the proven "his" man of the Rooster Stereotypes Caribbean fickle.

He met Hervé N'Kashama who offered him a role in his short film "The Samaritans" tour later this year.
Lately it in the short film by Joel Rejant "Note Bleue in Paris" he plays with brillo Miles Davis, the lead role. This film will be screened at Cannes 2010.
